Bruni Bergeron started playing music at 8 years old with a little Bontempi air organ.
Very soon he started composing his own melodies and grew better with the
years.
It wasn’t
until 1999 that he took interest into trance music,
but he stayed a
listener-only ‘til 2001, where he got ‘’MTV Music Generator’’ for the ‘’PsOne’’.
This is where he sketched his first trance tunes believe it or not. A
little later he came to have a computer and the programs ‘’Fruity Loops’’
and ‘’Reason’’ and that is where Bruni started his magic, learning by
himself every trick for 3 years until he was ready to get signed.
The first one
to take interest in Bruni’s work was Woody Van Eyden, who at first was
looking for his track ‘’Theme from nothingness’’ to be signed on
Fenology records. The project didn’t go through, but ‘’B.r.u.n.i. –
Silver Dust’’ was signed to Fenology instead.
Then came
Total Digital Recordings who were going to be a big player in Bruni’s
career. He released some original productions and some remixes, getting
big support by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk and Johan
Gielen.
In 2006 Bruni decides to open a digital label, to help new artists being discovered,
and that is what happened, with some releases getting massive support by
big names throughout the worldwide Djs. The company has grown stronger,
and has gone through big structure changes as Bruni finds an associate
(James Wood from the UK) and they built a team to help provide the trance
community with some solid releases from Moonrising and it’s sub-labels. |
